With the growing hype of battle royale games and the immense popularity that Apex Legends has gained it is not surprising to see so many hackers hop into the game to taste their own version of fun in a free to play battle royale.

Respawn Entertainment has said that it has banned over 355,000 cheaters on the PC platform alone. Apex Legends has entrusted the Easy-Anti-Cheat software to halt cheaters from gaining much traction and play time in the game to keep the playing experience for fair players as clean and cheat-free as possible following a statement on Reditt recently on the matter saying “We’ll need to continue to adapt to and be very vigilant about fighting [cheaters]. We take cheating very seriously and care deeply about the health of Apex Legends for all players”.

Respawn Entertainment is also said to be working on their Anti-cheat client side of things to ensure that the playing experience is as smooth as possible especially given how much popularity the game is getting. With games as popular as PUBG losing their touch and popularity owing to their game-breaking bugs and hackers, it is vital that Respawn addresses the cheater problem as promptly as possible to be the game to beat in the battle Royale category this year.
