Its been five years since the last Splinter Cell game has come out, but fortunately, there is good news. Jade Raymond, the executive producer for the Splinter Cell Blacklist, shed some light on a new Splinter Cell game in an interview with Gamereactor. According to Raymond, she and her team worked on the concept design for a new Splinter Cell before she parted ways with the company back.
Jade Raymond stated the following:
The last Splinter Cell (Blacklist) is the last one that shipped.
You know what? There is a design that we actually had and worked on and would have wanted to make, but since I am not at Ubisoft anymore I can’t talk about it and I don’t know who wants to share that concept.
This is good news for a lot of Splinter Cell’s and the protagonist Sam Fisher’s fans, but it isn’t confirmed yet whether Ubisoft will come out with another sequel to the game or not. However, there are a lot of speculations that the game will be announced somewhere in 2019. Every fan is hoping to see a sequel of the game because it has been a long time since the last game has come out.
