In celebration of Europe’s largest gaming trade show, the minds behind GeForce released a driver install on August 20 in time for Gamescom 2019 to some of their cards that’ll give PC players affects a beefy upgrade in terms of hardware efficiency.

The company behind the popular graphics cards launched a brand new update for their a ton of products in their hardware line which introduces performance enhancers for various PC titles, including Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale.

Notably, Apex Legends PC players with the latest line of GeForce RTX Super cards will actually be feeling the effects from the update that will improve performance from anywhere in between 15 and 23 percent at 1080p, according to NVIDIA.

Even though the performance boosts on the RTX Supers aren’t as impressive on higher resolutions like 4k, it’ll still provide Legends a better kick out of their graphics card to get a leg up on the competition.

The update will give players affected by it more frames out of their graphics cards, which could be useful, especially in a game that’s been creating frustrations because of bothersome screen effects.

Furthermore, NVIDIA is also launched the beta for their new Ultra-Low Latency mode for DirectX 9 and DirectX 11 games.
“We know that gaming isn’t just about raw FPS,” NVIDIA said in their announcement. “Gamers also want great image quality and faster response times.”

That’s where the new latency mode takes over. Once enabled, players will be able “to get the low latency feeling of high framerates, without having to compromise their graphics quality settings or resolution to get there.”

With the Ultra-Low Latency Mode, players the option to get “just in time” frame rendering so that there’s less frames in the render queue. This results in “new frames (being) sent to your GPU sooner, reducing latency and improving responsiveness.”

Apex Legends players looking to get better performance from their PCs will definitely have something to love in the Gamescom Game Ready Driver update.
