Major iPhone X2 Leak Points to Three New Models
According to a new report of Economic Daily News Apple is going to launch three iPhones this year: iPhone X SE, iPhone X-2, and an iPhone X Plus. The report suggests that Apple is going to trench the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and won’t offer an iPhone 9 or iPhone 9 Plus. On the lower side of the line, Apple might increase the price from $699 on the iPhone 8 to $799 to start on the iPhone X SE, according to the leaks and reports.
Despite the alleged price increase, Apple might offer some discounts. According to the report, Apple will be dropping the price of its second-generation iPhone X to $899. However, the iPhone X Plus, which would presumably come with a bigger screen, would set customers back $999 as a starter, the reports suggest.
Even though the tech giant has remained tight-lipped about its upcoming phones but some of the leaks and rumors have suggested that indeed Apple is working on three new iPhones. It’s believed that the second-generation iPhone X will have an almost identical design to it predecessor and could come with a 5.8-inch screen. The iPhone X SE will be the cheapest one presumably, and it is expected to have a 6.1-inch display. The iPhone X Plus would come with a 6.5-inch screen according to the reports. It seems like only iPhone X and iPhone X Plus will have OLED screens. The SE will come with an LCD display.
Talking about those displays, Valuewalk reports suggest Apple has tapped Samsung Display for production on the iPhone X line up’s displays. The report mentioned that Samsung Display would begin work on the screens in May and double its production attempt in June. All of this means that we’ll be expecting the new generation of the iPhone X in stores shelves in September.
Apple hasn’t announced any plans for future iPhones, so it’s important to take the latest reports with the proverbial grain of salt. But we can expect many more iPhone X leaks and rumors over the coming months.
