A Quad camera setup at the back of Huawei P30 Pro has been confirmed unintentionally by Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei’s consumer business group. A photo sample snapped from the P30 Pro has been shared by the executive and there is an insufficiently blurred watermark on the sample which indicates that a quad camera setup will be sported by the smartphone. In Paris, at an event to be held on 26th March, Huawei P30 Pro and Huawei P30 are to be launched. Similar to the Huawei P20 Pro as seen last year, the Huawei P30 will feature a triple camera setup at the rear as well.
The camera sample clicked from the Huawei P30 Pro was posted to Weibo by Yu. The camera sample picture is of the moon taken to celebrate the Lantern Festival which is being held in China, moreover, the confirmation of the four lenses is provided by a watermark on the picture which suggests that quad camera setup from Leica is flaunted by the Pro variant. As reported on past several occasions and confirmed by the photo, lossless optical zoom will be supported by the Huawei P30 Pro, and while enabling extraordinary macro shots, the 5X lossless optical to be supported by the phone has been suggested by a video teaser.
The Huawei P30 Pro and P30 as suggested by previous rumor, will feature OLED screens with optical in-display sensors for fingerprints as well as a waterdrop-style notch. HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC will power both the phones according to reports. The Huawei P30 Pro’s OLED display panel will be larger (6.5-inch) and its RAM (12GB) will be more than that of the Huawei P30 where the display of the latter is of 6.1-inch and the RAM is of 8GB. The front camera is expected to be a 24MP selfie camera whereas its rear is expected to come along with a maximum of 40MP all the while supporting 5X lossless zoom.
The smartphones will boast a dewdrop-shaped notch in the front as it is suggested for the design by leaked renders. At the back, a quad camera setup is featured by the P30 Pro whereas a triple rear camera setup is sported by P30. Along with a dual-LED flash module, the sensors will be vertically aligned. The finger print sensor is placed underneath the display whereas on the right edge of the smartphone the power and volume buttons are placed.
It sure is a catchy phone for those who like to take quality pictures and to be honest, who doesn’t!?
