CES 2019 is just in its starting stages and Lenovo has gone on to announce its latest lineup of Legion gaming peripherals including the :
- Legion H300 and H500 7.1 Gaming Headsets
- Legion K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard
- Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse
H500 7.1 Gaming Headset
The H500 7.1 Gaming Headset has a solid build design and will be available for purchase somewhere around April 2019 for about $100 USD. The Headset offers 7.1 virtual surround sound and features 50mm drivers for great audio quality. The headset is designed with the needs of gamers in mind and therefore the company has gone on to include a retractable microphone and passive noise cancelling features that many gamers will appreciate.
K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard
The Legion K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard is aimed at gamers looking for high performance from an entry-level gaming keyboard. This keyboard comes with features most people expect from higher-end gaming mechanical keyboards. The K500 RGB will feature red mechanical switches, 104 key anti-ghosting, a detachable wrist-rest and height adjustment with 3 zone per-key RGB lighting. Although the keyboard has all one could ask for from a gaming keyboard, it would be interesting to see which “Red” switch the keyboard will be using and whether they will be from Cherry MX as no announcement has been made regarding the matter. The keyboard will priced around $100 USD and will be available for purchase in April 2019.
M500 RGB Gaming Mouse
The Lenovo Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse will be available for purchase for around $60 USD in April. The mouse will feature a 16,000 DPI optical sensor, Omron switches, adjustable weight cartridges and RGB lighting zones around the scroll wheel, the Legion gaming logo and at the bottom of the mouse for an added RGB effect. The technical specifications regarding which sensor will be used is still to be revealed and although the pricing is aggressive it will be interesting to see how much of a competition it proves to be against some higher-end mice that are priced around the $60 USD marker.
