Felipe Gouvea who is working on a Pokemon Fire Red remake in Unreal Engine 4 has released the V1.3 Demo of the game.

Felipe Gouvea has been working on this project for a while now and the game in the current state seems it's only a few months before he might be able to complete the project. Whereas the original Pokemon Fire Red release on the Gameboy is a turned based battle and top view game, Felipe Gouvea's Pokemon Fire Red 3D gives the player a third person view. He also ditched the turn-based mechanism of the game with a real-time battle mechanism.

In the past, we've seen a lot of fan-made Pokemon games and modes being shut down by Nintendo, so Felipe Gouvea keeps leaving a download link for the demo versions of the game. And up till now, we're looking at the V1.3. If you want to download the demo version of the game, then click here or here.

Still, the game is in its early stages, so there's a lot missing in the game and be prepared to face some bugs.
