H1Z1 has been a successful game on the platform of PC in the past. A game like H1ZI was a much-needed title for the console platforms and today Daybreak Games announced that H1Z1, one of the digital games in the battle royal genre, will be making its console debut on PlayStation 4. However, the development of H1Z1 for consoles was paused a year ago leaving people hanging that were waiting for the game to arrive on the PlayStation platform, but now the developers are ready to share the final game with the public.
The good news is that the PC port of H1Z1 for the console isn’t just another poorly optimized port, Many of the core physics and mechanics of the game were reworked and redesigned by the developers to take the core the advantage of the DualShock 4 controller with more responsiveness and quick implementation of some certain techniques that made the game stand out from the group of “Poorly Optimized PC port”. The gameplay of the game is also changed to fit the console environment perfectly. The car keys are removed which will give players instant access to vehicles, also the inventory has been completely reworked as well which means that you will not have to craft basic armors or jump through menus to get geared up.
The preorder is starting today through May 22, 2018, players will be able to preorder a special H1Z1 bundle for $29.99 for unique in-game cosmetic items that will be given at the start of open beta. The people who pre-ordered the bundle will also be given a dynamic theme at the time of purchase. PlayStation Plus Members will receive 20% off their preorder purchase.
