During New York Comic-Con, Square Enix revealead that a new player is being added to the game. The character Kamala khan aka Ms.Marvel is latest addition being the 6th character. Here is a list of characters already introduced.

A little introduction to the character


Kamala won hearts of comic fans around the world, when she made her first appearance in Captain Marvel #14 in August 2013. She is a Pakistani-American teenager who defends her hometown Jersey City. Additionally, Kamala is the youngest superhero in Marvel Universe. Kamala Khan will be played by Sanra Saad. She has previously worked on Fallout 76 and Rage 2.

“Telling our story of Kamala’s coming-of-age brings a fresh, hopeful perspective to the gameplay experience and her unique abilities as Ms. Marvel make her a character every person can relate to and will want to play,” said Shaun Escayg, creative director and writer at Crystal Dynamics. “Kamala Khan is one of the unique characters that makes our game stand apart from any Avengers story experienced before.”

“I think Kamala is a perfect fit for a game like this, since she sees the Marvel world the same way we do as fans and players,” added G. Willow Wilson, co-creator of Ms Marvel. “Kamala allows us to imagine what we ourselves would do if we suddenly discovered we had superpowers and got to stand alongside our heroes in their time of greatest need.”

Ms.Marvel will have numerous powers. She can be seen developing polymorphic and healing powers after being exposed to Terrigen Mists during A-Day incident. She will also have “Embiggen” power, which will allow her to grow to a giant size in game. Kamala’s main object will be to regroup Avengers.

The character will be featured in the upcoming comic book, which is set to launch on May 15, 2020. It’ll support PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google’s Stadia and PC.
