With CES standing only a few days away from us, LG has astonished the world by revealing the latest jewel of their crown.
LG has resolved to showcase their masterpiece at the CES on 7th January. The immaculate specimen bears an 88-inch OLED TV panel and an ultra-sharp 8K resolution. Making it the largest and the sharpest OLED TV so far.
The premium TV experience:
The 8K resolution is currently the highest ultra-high definition television resolution in digital television. LG has the honor of being the first to implement the highly developed resolution over OLED technology. It is the subsequent of their last technological venture, the 77-inch 4k OLED-TV but surpasses its peer on many levels.
In simpler words, it is not only larger but also rounds up a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels. Which is 4 times the pixel-capacity of 4k display and 16 times more than the standard 1080×1920-pixel full-HD resolution.
It does not only have the infinite contrast ratio and deep colors of LG’s existing OLED TV panels. The 8k resolution also presents each pixel of the panel to be indistinguishable to the human eye when viewed at a typical distance from the screen.
As exciting it is, LG is yet to reveal further details regarding its release date, model name, and pricing. So, one cannot expect it to be available soon. But owing to the rarity, quality and price of 8k resolution displays, it’s going to be luxuriously expensive.
