Blood, Gore, and anarchic violence! There could be a Mortal Kombat game coming in the second quarter of 2019. NetherRealm (Developers of Injustice and Mortal Kombat) are punctual with their steady schedule on releasing ground-breaking action-fighting games using some iconic characters throughout the movie and game industry like Leatherface, Predator, Jason, Alien, and Kratos. This cultural mashup started from a remake version of Mortal Kombat series know as Mortal Kombat IX back in 2011 when there is Kratos from God of War series was playable in most brutal fights for he’s made of. Later on, Mortal Kombat added Jason and Predator via their First Fighter Pack and later on added Leatherface and Alien in their 2nd Fighter Pack. Recently Injustice 2 wielded lead character (The 4 Ninja Turtles) of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” in the roster of awesome superpower-defying action.

Inspired by Mortal Kombat Fighter Pack some fans asked Series Director Ed Boon for another Fighter Pack with more iconic character to be added up in the roster of Kombations! Ed Boon replied, “You know what ELSE would be kool…..?”

There is a “K” (Mortal Kombat’s signature letter) instead of “C” as a headstart of the most notable word (Cool) in his reply, leads everyone to think of a new Mortal Kombat game is under works. As NetherRealm ended up further developing Mortal Kombat X with an “XL” version and it couldn’t be any better than that!
