So there are times when you go to a friends house and connect to their WiFi. Next time you go but with a different device and you ask for the password again. And two days later, you go again with another device and now you feel reluctant asking for password again and again.
It’s an occupational hazard, and also an annoyance for friends who have to relay their passwords to me for the 9000th time, most likely late at night when I realize I don’t have it. Yes, there are a number of workarounds for this problem depending on the gadgets you have on hand, but I recently came across a great one finding passwords in my phone using the WiFi Key Recovery app
HOW DOES IT WORK?
To use it, download the app from the Google Play Store(your phone will need to be rooted) and run the app. You’ll have to give the app Superuser access, but when you do you’ll be able to see all the of WiFi networks you’ve ever connected your device to as well as what the password for those networks is. Passwords are searchable, and you can share them with another device via QR code using an additional app.
This app enables us to store the complete list of passwords in it and you can completely eliminate the tensions of remembering a rogue password! However, if someone accesses this app, they’ll have access to all your WiFi passwords so better make this app password protected!
