Some people cannot afford really expensive gaming PC’s, hence Cloud Service like Stadia or GeForce Now are becoming a solution. Today, we have exciting news, that Cyberpunk 2077 will be supported by GeForce Now on release day. Nvidia wrote “GeForce Now members will be able to grab their copy on Steam and play the game the moment it’s available.”

This means that you do not need a very high-end PC to enjoy your favorite game. However, you still need a game copy from Either Steam or Epic Games Store, and afterward, play it through GeForce Now. The Service currently supports very specific games though, hence you need to check compatibility.

Stadia vs GeForce Now?
Stadia is kind of first to introduce cloud gaming service, but Nvidia is putting up a serious fight. Cyberpunk 2077 will also support Stadia, hence the game won’t be a GeForce Now exclusive.

Nvidia is first
Previously, PC Gamer made a report in which CD Projekt Red indicated that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t arrive to Stadia until its launched on PC and console. This means that Stadia will be the last device after PC and Console are sorted out. Nvidia however, has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will support the streaming service from Day 1.

GeForce Now has more issues
Despite this, Nvidia is still facing criticism, and it’s not stopping. A user posted on social media, criticising Nvidia that what’s the guarantee of Cyberpunk 2077 not withdrawing from service later. He wrote:
“After this announcement, I am planning to preorder Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam. Do you [Nvidia] guarantee to refund for this game if this situation will change until its release date or at least 1 year after release?”

Nvidia also partnered up with Cyberpunk 2077 to release a RTX 2080 Ti, which had a Cyberpunk theme. There is a lot of going on between CD Projekt Red and Nvidia.
