Recently out of nowhere, Rockstar launched a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the game in many people’s opinions was launched in a hurry and it made no sense. Usually, Rockstar games are pretty good when they launch however Red Dead Redemption 2 was a complete mess. Rockstar promised its users that they will fix the ongoing issues and a new patch was soon making its way.

The new patch Version 1.14 for Red Dead Redemption 2 is here. The patch has addressed the stuttering issue and it is quite better than before. Previously users with Nvidia graphics cards faced a lot of stuttering issues and game crashes. According to Rockstar, the latest Patch will “avoid hitting an edge-case” with certain Nvidia graphics drivers that causes a significant amount of stuttering – or even outright stalling – for those using quad-core or six-core CPUs

The bad news is that this fix is temporary and there are certain steps in order to stop the stuttering.

The patch also has some side effects. Firstly, the users will face FPS drops in major towns. This could happen for some people with specific hardware configurations. Rockstar plans on fixing most of the issues permanently, however, this fix was from Rockstar’s side. They are currently working with Nvidia to release a new graphic driver that could solve these bugs permanently.
