Ubisoft has finally announced the release date for their long-awaited open-world driving sequel The Crew 2. The Crew 2 will be releasing on June 29, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Ubisoft Ivory Tower’s The Crew 2 was actually expected to launch on March 16 but they had to shift the release date to somewhere between April and September this year. Ivory Tower the developer of The Crew 2 said that they had to postpone the game’s launch so that they “deliver an experience that will fulfill both our fans’ and our own quality expectations”.
The Crew 2 features a redesigned United States which players will explore as they collect the cars, boats, bikes, and planes with the objective of becoming the champion of the water, land, and sky.
Now that they have set a confirmed release date for The Crew 2, the next step will be to launch a beta event. Where the interested parties will be able to register to participate in the event on The Crew 2 website. There’s some news that there will be editions on the launch day, a Motor Edition and a Gold Edition will be releasing as well as the standard version of The Crew 2.
The players who can’t wait to get their hands on the game can get an early access to the game by ordering the $110 USD The Crew 2 Motor Edition, that will give you access to the game on June 26. Ubisoft store is also offering:
- The Crew 2 Gold Edition will come with a season pass, that will have outfits, vehicles, and more-add on content.
- The Motor Edition will include outfits, special vehicles including the Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck 2017, Abarth 500 2008 Monster Truck Edition, Pilatus PC-21 and more.
- A 25″ x 20″ roadmap, an 11.81″ x 5.9″ The Crew 2 license plate and four stickers.
Those players who will preorder the game will be getting The Crew 2 Legendary Motors Pack, that will include the Harley-Davidson Iron 883TM 2017 and Mercedes-AMG C 63 Touring Car 2016.
