Unboxing the Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus 1250w is a pleasant experience because as soon as you open up the box you’ll see the manuals and necessary documentation. Beneath the documents, you’ll get to see the PSU for the first time and on the right side, you’ll see a carrying bag too.
As soon as we take off the cloth-material cover off of the PSU, we’re delighted with the 1250Watt of Titanium goodness the Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus 1250w!
After opening up the carrying bag, we get to see all of the connectors, cables, and accessories that come with the PSU which includes the following stuff:

All of the necessary cables are separately sleeved which is an amazing addition to the premium PSU from Thermaltake. The included cable combs are enough to fit any sort of cable orientation. I personally appreciate the attention to the details of this PSU. Sleeved cables have become the norm of 2018 and I feel like every PSU should come with sleeved cables from the factory.
Now if we take a look at the Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus 1250w itself, the right side of the PSU has the same branding that we’ve been seeing throughout our whole unboxing experience.
The front side of the PSU has all of the connectors well-situated with proper labeling for any kind of user, you won’t get confused while installing the cables. We also have the USB connector at the back side too which will help in monitoring and connecting the PSU digitally to your motherboard.
Ultimately, the back side of the Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus 1250w is well-vented for sufficient airflow along with the power switch and main power connector.
The top side of the PSU contains vital information about the power output and a barcode. The bottom side of the PSU contains the RGB fan which Thermaltake states as “Patented 16.8 Million Colors Riing PLUS 14 RGB Fan”. It is a fully customizable fan which can be controlled via software.
Talking about the RGB Fan of the PSU, You can set almost any color combination for the fan via software there’s a nice glow to it which gives a nice look to your rig if the PSU fan is facing upwards.
