As of now, there are a lot of rumors surfacing around the internet saying that Apple is going to launch three new models of iPhones. In the extent of Ming-Chi Kuo, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is also ready with his summary of Apple’s upcoming event. He suggests that Apple is also going to use this event to introduce upgrades to its entirety of consumer gadgets.

We’ve seen Apple’s naming policy for their iPhones. Last year some reports and news believed that we’ll see an iPhone Pro, but these reports were never true and we got a totally new iPhone variant on our hands which was called “X”. Now Mark Gurman believes that Apple is going to name the 6.1 2018 iPhone as the iPhone Xr. To be honest, it looks like it might be true, but we’ll have to find it out in the upcoming Apple event.
While iPhone Xr sounds like a smooth ring, but still it’ll be better if Apple calls its 6.5 inch OLED phone as the iPhone Xs or Xs Plus, instead of Xs Max. The major point of this is that it’ll be easy to differentiate the 2018 iPhone along display lines.
However, all of the information we’ve gathered isn’t final obviously. So don’t get your hopes up and high. Ultimately, the tech giant is also going to announce new additions to its services segment; one which it needs users to rely on in order to nurture long-term revenue growth.
Apple’s concluding decision might be based on the totality of differences between the two 2018 OLED iPhones.
