2018 has been a great year for the gaming community, with E3 2018, a lot of new games, teasers and trailers got revealed making the gamers eager for the final releases of the games.
But, these were the highlights and these games were all the hype at E3, it has a become a slight of a problem that a lot major AAA titles take all the hype and more of the deserving games are buried under these AAA titles. It’s our job to point out most of the underrated games that were shown at E3, and that’s exactly what’ll be covering today.
Below is the list of some underrated games from E3 that we think, deserve more attention than they currently have.
1: Soulcalibur VI
Soulcalibur VI is an upcoming game based on a fist fight genre, developed by Project Soul. This game didn’t get much of the attention it deserved at E3. The game is going to be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It will be released on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018. The gameplay of the game is based on two-weapon-wielding combatants battling against one another on a 3D plane. I think the game is underrated because we need more games based on fighting genres these days, everyone needs a break from the battle royale fiasco.
2: Yakuza Kiwami 2
Kiwami 2 is an upcoming remake of Yakuza 2. The game was originally launched on PS2 back in 2006. It’s become ridiculously rare since then, with used copies costing around £60 online. As such, knowing that there’s a remake in the works is a huge relief. The game is based on the streets of Kamurocho, Tokyo packed with shops, quests, and mini-games for the player to seek out. Once again I feel that these type of games needs more attention at the moment to divert the gamers to the vast majority of genres that were sometimes the main headline of the gaming industry but now it seems like new gamers don’t know the finesse of these games. We need more games like Yakuza Kiwami at the moment.
3: Crazy Justice
Crazy justice is a game that looks similar to Fornite at first glance, but in reality, the game is totally different from any other battle royale game. Crazy justice is a third person-Shooter game. The game depicts humor and the main characters interact with other players that create funny moments and scenes. The reason this game is in the list because it’s surprising that the game is based on battle royale mode but still the game is very different from other battle royale games which really makes it underrated at the moment.
We’ll be updating this list if we find more underrated games, or tweet us @Pak Gamers Republic to let us know if we missed any underrated game of E3 2018.
